This might be nothing. Matt Nichols and Tavoy Moore could both wake up Saturday morning, cautiously put their feet on the floor and take those first steps, feel nothing and the Edmonton Eskimos’ season will go on with the same sun-soaked feeling that it’s had for the past two weeks.
But if the two players who are projected to be a big part of the Eskimos’ plans this year get up on Saturday and their legs are sore/stiff/swollen/worse, Saturday could be a day of reckoning and adjusting for Kavis Reed, Ed Hervey and the Eskimos.
