Twelve games could be all that Shamawd Chambers will get with the Edmonton Eskimos this season. The team placed the third-year receiver on the six-game injured list on Thursday morning, after he injured his knee last week against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The Markham, Ont. product has 30 catches for 366 yards and a touchdown this season.
Fifth-year receiver Akeem Foster will start in place of Chambers and the Eskimos have activated former Edmonton Huskies receiver Anthony Barrett in Chambers’ absence.
