The Eskimos roster grew by two players on Tuesday, with the addition of receiver Marcus Rucker and linebacker Patrick Trahan. Both internationals were placed on the team’s practice roster.
Rucker, 24 and six-foot-four, 189 pounds, played his college football at Memphis. With the Tigers he had 126 catches for 1,665 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also spent time (five days) last year with the New York Jets. You can get a more detailed look at his college career here.
Trahan is 28 and played his college ball at Mississippi. At Ole Miss, the six-foot-two, 236-pounder had 98 tackles, seven sacks, 16.5 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and one recovery in two seasons (2008, 2009). He also spent a year each at Auburn and Northwest Mississippi Community College. His NFL route includes stops with the Tennessee Titans (2010) and Chicago Bears (2011, 2012, 2013).
